Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 July 2026
Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Ambassly, you confirm you can form a binding contract on behalf of yourself or the company you represent, and that you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
The service
Ambassly provides software for running affiliate programs: tracking, a commission ledger, and payout tooling. You are responsible for how you configure your programs, the commission terms you offer, and the payments you make to your affiliates.
Accounts
You’re responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for all activity that happens under it. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
Attribution & commissions
Ambassly records commissions based on the tracking data and Stripe events it receives. Attribution depends on correct installation of the snippet and webhook and on referral codes reaching Stripe Checkout. We compute and display commissions; the decision to approve, reject, or pay any commission is yours. Ambassly does not itself pay your affiliates.
Your responsibility for decisions
Ambassly is a tool. It does not review, verify, or approve your commissions, affiliates, or payouts on your behalf. All approval, rejection, fraud, and payment decisions are made by you, and you are responsible for them and for compliance with applicable laws and tax obligations.
Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe after a 14-day trial and renew automatically until you cancel. We never cap the revenue your affiliates refer; plan limits apply only to programs and active affiliates. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. If a charge fails or is disputed, we may suspend access until it’s resolved.
Acceptable use
Do not use Ambassly to facilitate fraud, to track individuals unlawfully, to violate Stripe’s terms, or to attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the service’s normal operation. We may suspend accounts that do, with or without notice, at our discretion.
Your content and data
You retain ownership of your program, affiliate, and ledger data. By using Ambassly, you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the service back to you. We don’t claim ownership of your content.
Intellectual property
Ambassly, its logo, and its software are our property (or licensed to us) and protected by intellectual-property law. These Terms don’t grant you any right to our trademarks, branding, or underlying code beyond using the service as intended.
Third-party services
Ambassly relies on third-party providers (Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Supabase for hosting and data, Sentry for monitoring) to function. We’re not responsible for outages or issues caused by those providers, though we’ll work to minimize their impact on you.
Warranty & liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ambassly is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for commission or payout amounts arising from your configuration or third-party services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Ambassly harmless from any claim, loss, or damage (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your commission and payout decisions.
Termination
You can stop using Ambassly and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or discontinue the service entirely with reasonable notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (billing already owed, liability limits, indemnification, data retention for financial records) continue to apply.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ambassly’s operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that can’t be resolved informally should first be raised with us at [email protected] — we’d rather fix a problem than litigate it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as Ambassly evolves. The version at ambassly.com/terms always governs, and we’ll update the “Last updated” date above when we make a change. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
